Jake facing off Against the Dodgers

jake at home 6Jake has his work cut out for him today facing off against the Dodgers, in the win yesterday Bruce went through the entire bullpen and that could work against the boys today.Hope Jake is well rested because he will need his stuff and to go deep in the game today to have the pen.

Jake is sitting on win #149 – fingers crossed that tonight is the magic 150

Taking Jake a few minutes to settle down and find his way. (looks like a new glove)

Mack Williamson with a brilliant catch in left for the 2nd out.

Matt Duffy with a solid single in the bottom of the 2nd. Thanks to the sun we have runners at 1st and 2nd.

Dodgers just got their second base hit, Jake had retired 8 between the 2 singles.

Jake strikes out at this first at bat for the day.

Jake is working great today, at his pace, keeping the emotions in check.

A 6 to 4 to 3 double play and a fly to right gets jake out of that jam

Hell of a go Jake at first you almost had him. Jake has thrown 6 shutout innings of ball and this peavy’s girl is so proud of him.

**If Osich comes in needs to earn my trust back, he screwed up Jake’s great work his last outing.

Panic on with a single in the bottom of the 6th. Belt just smacked his 8th home run of the season, it’s a 2 to 0 Giants lead.

Top of 7th and Strickland gives up a home run, it’s 2 to 1 Giants.

Giants left a runner at 3rd and could not get him home.

The boys are still managing to get themselves out of jams and holding on to the lead.

Giants hold on winning 2 to 1 and getting Jake win #150

OK, Jakes figures for today; he went 6 innings, with 4 hits no runs, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.

Jake’s ERA has dropped to 5.83

Jake threw 90 pitches with 57 of those strikes.

We should see Jake again during the Ray’s series.
