Giants and Braves

thinking 3 - CopyHappy Birthday Jake, Hope it’s a great night in the office for you.

Jake’s last outing has gotten his ERA down to 7.26. Fingers crossed for another great out, his slider and fast ball are working and he can go 7 strong innings.

Bottom of 1st – Jake had a good first inning, getting settled in.

Bottom of 2nd – Thanks to Hunter Pence, Jake has kept the Braves hitless.

Bottom of 3rd – first strikeout issues by Jake, on the bunt, Jake gets out of Busters way and the no-hitter is intact.

**End of 4th and Jake still has zeros across the scoreboard.

Bottom of 5th – the perfect game is gone with a single, now, let’s go for a 1 hitter. (Jake has never had a perfect game or a 1 hitter)

Top of 6th – Jake with a 2 out single. Jake hauls ass on Span’s triple Giants – 1 and Braves – 0, Jake’s pitch count is 62 with 2 out.

**I’m NOT HAPPY, Jake is done, BUT once again he had such a great out, 2 outings in a row he has put together and I am SO PROUD of him

Top of the 8th – with the bases loaded, Crawford gets home on a Sac fly for a 2 to 0 Giants lead. With another single by Span, the boys add another run taking the lead to 3 to zero. Panik with a bunt, which he beat out takes the lead to 4 to zero. They challenged the Panik call and he was out, change the score to a sac bunt. (this was a 45 minute inning)

Osich is in, he screwed it up for Jake the last time, do I need to SCREAM idiot again.

**FINAL Giants 4 and Braves – 0

**Jake finally with a much-needed and well deserved win and on his birthday is even better. Jake made 7 full innings with 1 hit and 3 strike outs, his ERA has dropped to 6.34

Jakes pitch count was 77 total and 57 of those were strikes.

We should see Jake during the St.Louis Cardinals series
